So I’ve been wondering if anyone else has gone through this kind of phase where you start paying more attention to your mental state but don’t really know how to structure it. A while ago I noticed I was constantly tired and mentally all over the place, and I tried a bunch of random things like mood notes, reminders, even simple breathing exercises, but nothing really stuck for long. Then I came across something like this The Liven while I was reading a discussion late at night, and it made me curious whether tools like that actually help people stay more aware of themselves or if it’s just another short-term experiment before you drop it and move on.

I’ve been reading through this thread and it’s interesting how differently people approach the idea of self-awareness. I don’t really use apps or structured tools for that kind of thing, but I do notice my own habits in more indirect ways. For example, I tend to realize I’m overwhelmed only when small things start irritating me more than usual. Lately I’ve been trying to just step away from my screen for a bit when that happens instead of pushing through it. It’s not really a system or anything organized, more like small adjustments I pick up along the way.
